Our services include the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services for women. We have listed many of our services, but are not limited to just these:

Contraception (birth control)
Normal and high risk obstetrical care
In office ultrasound for both obstetrics and gynecology
In office tubal ligation ("Essure")
In office "LEEP" for abnormal pap smears or dysplasia

Minor and major gynecologic surgery
Laser and endoscopic surgery
Cryoablation
Fibroid management including surgical and non-surgical therapy
PMS therapy
Hormone replacement therapy
Sexual dysfunction
Treatment for pelvic pain and endometriosis
Menstrual disorders
Management of abnormal pap smears
Menopausal treatment, including non-hormonal treatment
Evaluation and treatment of infertility with a referral to a specialist if indicated
Management of urinary incontinence

CLINICAL RESEARCH

We are currently participating and conducting clinical research trials in the office. Research trials benefit patients by helping new medications get FDA approval. Patients participating in our trials may receive free office visits, lab tests, medication and sometimes monetary compensation. Information on current studies is posted under the news section of our web site or ask in our office.

Main Location
8:30am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Closed 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm for lunch
For your convenience, we offer some late appointments in the evenings and Saturdays.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us notice as far in advance as possible so we may offer your spot to another patient. Please bring your current insurance card and picture ID to your appointment. If you require a referral, please make arrangements with your primary provider or HMO prior to your appointment. We will make every effort to see you for your appointment date and time, but occasional emergencies or deliveries may cause you to be delayed or inconvenienced. Please be patient with us while caring for other patients.

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY CARE

We have physician's on-call at Atlanta Medical Center and Dekalb Medical Center twenty-four hours a day to handle your GYN emergencies and delivery of your baby.
Notify the hospital that your primary physician is with Legacy Obstetrics & Gynecology Dr. Andre Williams.
We also provide nurses to take after hour calls. Please reserve your calls to emergency information only.
We will not take calls for non-emergencies including prescription refills, appointments, or lab results.

If you are "in labor", you may proceed directly to Labor and Delivery. Our physician will be called to assist you.
If you have an immediate medical emergency, call 911.

FEES AND INSURANCE

Our fees for professional services are based on the usual and customary charges for our area and reflect the cost of providing quality care. Payment is due at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept payment by cash, verified check, Visa and MasterCard.

We are contracted with many Managed Care insurance companies, including Medicaid. Keep in mind that insurance plans vary, and each has its own requirements and restrictions. Please check with your insurance company to confirm provider status and services covered. To simplify billing and keep medical cost down, co-pays, and payments for deductibles and non-covered services are due at the time of your appointment. Balances remaining after insurance payment or non-payment will be due 30 days from the date of service.
